January-Composite
When we picture January, we normally see a world of grays and browns. Perhaps we even see it as dull and depressing. But when we go out with our eyes open, a much greater variety of colors will greet us. If you are someone who is attracted to browns and grays, take a walk outside and enjoy the myriad of variations on these themes. Although this is not the best time of year to paint your home, unless you are a member of the southern hemisphere, it is a great time to gather some inspirations.

This is the season when dry grasses turn from dusty browns to wet warm grays, revealing a surprising array of purples and lavenders. Hold these undertones as inspirations when exploring exterior color palettes.

Walking after a snowfall, lime green is real in the landscape! Apply it as an accent color to a door or bench for some exterior exuberant pizzazz.
